President & Chief Executive Officer
Reynaldo LeBlanc
Rey has spent his entire career in senior living, working initially in home and community-based services and then moving into sales and marketing leadership at Masonic Health System, a nonprofit CCRC. He joined Benchmark Senior Living in 2013 with its acquisition of The Groves in Lincoln, now The Commons in Lincoln, and was instrumental in the campus’s transformation from a financially challenged community at acquisition to a well operating, financially stable and highly occupied community with an extensive waitlist. In 2016, he led the opening and stabilization of the assisted living and memory care at the Commons, and in 2018 he was promoted to the Commons’ Campus Executive Director. In that role, he guided the community through COVID-19, a transition to nonprofit ownership under the JustLiving banner, and expansion efforts with residents and town officials that culminated in the 2023 approval of 28 new independent living residences and the start of construction in 2025.
